OTSEMEAK — meaning "she-wolves" in Basque — is Bea's powerful debut single and the heart of this album. The track captures the essence of the whole project: each song is inspired by a transformative experience Bea lived every Tuesday for several years within a women’s circle. OTSEMEAK conjures a mystical underworld where sisterhood, liberation, and ritual converge. Bea’s voice becomes both melody and rhythm, engaging in a visceral dialogue with the udu and the pandero cuadrado, while the double and electric basses ground the sound in earthy resonance. With hypnotic rhythms and evocative lyrics, OTSEMEAK transports listeners into a sacred space where the feminine howls, gathers, and rises — offering a powerful glimpse into the spirit of the full album.

This song is a reflection on personal search, taking a leap into the unknown, and the freedom of taking control of our own lives. The lyrics question what it truly means to move forward and find a path. They also speak about letting go of fear and daring to choose based on desire rather than obligation or fear of what others might say. At the same time, they challenge the idea of “success” and what it really means to “achieve” something. But above all, ENODIA is a tribute to freedom—to “closing your eyes, breathing, and letting yourself be carried, like the waves,” trusting your own journey.

5. EUTERPE feat. Idoia
Through the lyrics of Jon Martin Etxebeste, Bea and her sister Idoia give voice to a little-known reality: the silent struggle of those of us who dedicate our lives to music—or to art in general. Inspired by the Greek muse of music, EUTERPE is not an idealized ode to art, but a reflection on the invisible sacrifices and the ghosts (“mamu” in Basque) that come with this path: precariousness, uncertainty, and the pressure to conform to conventional standards of “success,” all while trying to preserve our creative essence within an often-hostile industry. The song also explores the inner ghosts we sometimes fall prey to: extreme self-demand and comparison—frequently fueled by a culture of perfectionism and intense competitiveness within both music education institutions and the music industry itself, where the mental health of musicians and artists is still too often overlooked.

OSTARA is inspired by the goddess of spring, renewal, and rebirth. Just like the seasonal cycle Ostara represents—where the earth awakens from the stillness of winter to embrace new life—the song explores the tension between societal expectations and personal truth as a process of awakening and transformation.
The lyrics reflect the cycles of forgetting and remembering, showing how we often lose touch with our authentic selves under the weight of false beliefs and “rules,” only to rediscover and relearn who we truly are and what we really want. This journey echoes Ostara’s symbolism of renewal: shedding old limitations and embracing growth.

7. BAUBO
BAUBO is named after the goddess of female sensuality and sexuality. The song confronts the shame and judgment society imposes on women’s bodies, desires, sensuality, sexuality, and self-expression, revealing how societal “lessons” attempt to silence and control us, turning these aspects into taboos. It challenges the fear and hypocrisy that label freedom and female sexual pleasure as dangerous or rebellious. Ultimately, BAUBO is a bold declaration of self-love and empowerment, celebrating the courage to embrace one’s true self unapologetically and break free from imposed limitations.

8. Yo estaba allí
Five years ago, the lockdown kept me from being where I needed to be most so I could say goodbye. I wrote these lyrics to heal and to remind myself that even if my body couldn’t be there, “I was there” somehow. Writing them helped me start to breathe again and realize that some absences go beyond physical distance and turn into presence. The music, written by Gianluca Corona and Maciek Pysz, found me at just the right moment. They shared the song with me, and it was love at first listen. In its melody and harmony, I found a sense of peace I was struggling to find at the time. They gave me the gift of letting me write lyrics and add my voice to it—something I’ll always be grateful for.
